Only paradox comes anywhere near to comprehending the fullness of life.
- C.G. Jung

In a world that appears more polarized by the minute, we are wise to study the nature of paradox.

Paradox is inherent in everything. We expand our chest, our back contracts. We move towards one choice, we move away from another. The outside world demands our attention, yet we live inside our own self-constructed world view. These contradictions are so common, we hardly notice them.

What if we mined the practice of staying open when more than one thing is true at the same time? What if we used paradox to fuel creative possibilities, to heighten our ability to listen to each other, to respect each opposite as one side of a golden coin?

It takes courage to stay fluid when emotions are high and beliefs are strong. This workshop will help us hold our feet to our own fire; to be exactly who we are and know ourselves to be more than we can imagine.

In our time together we will use Open Floor movement vocabulary, writing as a form of truth telling, and sitting meditation.

Prepare to expand your sense of justice and kindness towards yourself and others.
